Field Capture is a mobile forms and inspection platform that lets you build structured digital forms for any field workflow. Scaftra's integration with Field Capture connects your on-site data collection directly to your project records. When a crew completes a field measure form or an installation sign-off checklist in Field Capture, the result flows into Scaftra and is associated with the correct project and room. This is especially important for field measure sessions, where accurate room dimensions need to reach the fabricator quickly, and for installation completions, where photo proof and client signatures are the record of done.

How to set it up

1. Set up your Field Capture account and form templates

   Build your field measure, installation checklist, and sign-off form templates in Field Capture's form builder. Scaftra provides starter templates for common finish trade field measure and install workflows.
2. Connect Field Capture to Scaftra

   In Scaftra's integration settings, enter your Field Capture API credentials to authorize the connection. Scaftra will verify the connection and display your available Field Capture form templates for mapping.
3. Map Field Capture forms to Scaftra workflows

   In the integration settings, link each Field Capture form template to its corresponding Scaftra workflow stage: field measure forms map to the field measure phase, installation forms map to the install phase, and so on. This tells Scaftra which room records to update when a form is submitted.
4. Assign field visits in Scaftra, capture in Field Capture

   When you schedule a field measure or install visit in Scaftra, the assigned crew receives the project and room context in their Field Capture mobile app. They complete the form on-site and submit. Scaftra receives the data and updates the room record automatically.

• Field measure to order pipeline: Measurements captured in Field Capture on a field measure visit flow directly into Scaftra's field measure record for the room. The office team can review and approve the dimensions and place the fabrication order without waiting for a phone call or email from the field.
• Photo proof tied to rooms: Photos taken in Field Capture during install walkthroughs are attached to the Scaftra room record as proof-of-completion documentation. This creates a permanent, timestamped visual record at the room level without any file transfer or manual upload.
• Client and crew signatures on-site: Field Capture's signature capture lets clients or GC representatives sign off on completed work on-site. Those signatures sync to Scaftra and can be referenced in billing or lien waiver conversations.
• Structured checklists replace paper: Field Capture's form builder supports branching logic, required fields, and mandatory photos, so field crews follow a consistent process every time. The data Scaftra receives is structured and complete rather than free-form notes that need interpretation.
• Offline-capable mobile forms: Field Capture's mobile app works offline and syncs when connectivity is restored. Field crews in buildings with poor signal can complete their forms during the visit and sync automatically once they are back on the network.
